We can spend so much time trying to help them learn a task or teach them a new skill, that we become unaware of how much they have humbly taught us. They have taught me the value of patience; that hard work pays off in the end; how to find joy in the simplest of things; how to dream big; that communication goes beyond words; that forgiveness is one of the keys to friendship; the greatness of the word 'Hello'; and that even if all those around you think you can't - you can! I believe that only as time passes will I slowly begin to understand all the deposits they have made into my life.
Employment Option Center
Program Specialist
At the Employment Option Center, we employ approximately 20 professionals as a Job Development Specialist, Program Specialists, Vocational Training Assistants, and Job Coaches. Approximately 15 Direct Care staff personnel are available to assist the individuals throughout the day with various job functions. Mr. Damon Krynicki is currently the Director of the Center.
Our professional staff members typically have five to ten years of experience working with adults with mild-to-moderate disabilities. The educational backgrounds or our staff members normally includes college degrees in the social sciences and special education.
