Main Campus

McGuire Memorial's main campus, located in the Western Pennsylvania town of New Brighton, is home to our Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID). McGuire Memorial has provided unique programs for the care of those with profound disabilities in the region since 1963.

The School at McGuire Memorial

Welcoming and warm, The School at McGuire Memorial is a place where students thrive. We are an Approved Private School, licensed and approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
We take individualization very seriously, as we don’t try to fit children into our programs, but rather we build our programs around children.

Community Homes

McGuire Memorial community homes offer private residential living for individuals with mild to severe disabilities.
Residents enjoy total care within one-floor-living private home environments, all with accessible (ADA standard) doors, bathrooms, and entrances, renovated to meet their comfort and functional needs.
Healthcare Services

A team of multidisciplinary professionals assesses the healthcare needs of each individual served by McGuire Memorial to create a comprehensive plan of care and an active treatment plan, whether the individual is in-residence at McGuire’s main campus, or living in one of our community homes, or attending The School at McGuire Memorial.

Respite Care

McGuire Memorial offers families Respite Care for loved ones with developmental and physical disabilities.
When caregivers find that their schedules or travel plans will take them away from home, or when they simply need a rest from their daily obligations, they can turn to McGuire's proven, professional excellence.

Spirituality Program

The Spirituality Program at McGuire Memorial is based on the belief that individuals with disabilities not only have physical, social, and emotional needs, but that they also have a spiritual need – the need to experience the presence and love of God.
