Capital Campaign
A record number of families is choosing McGuire Memorial for the care and support of their loved ones, resulting in the highest demand for services in our 51 year history. To meet these needs, The Blessed Angela Capital Campaign has been launched for construction of a new gymnasium and “Life Academy” at The School at McGuire Memorial. Commemorative Gifts
Individuals, families, corporations, church and community groups can provide multi-year funding and secure naming rights to our Villas, Residential Suites, Community Homes, Classrooms, and much more. Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)
The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) gives corporations up to a 90% tax credit for contributions made to a qualified Scholarship Organization. McGuire Memorial is a qualified Educational Improvement Organization. By giving tax dollars directly to McGuire Memorial that would otherwise go to Harrisburg, companies can provide scholarships to children who need the expertise that The School at McGuire Memorial offers.

Guardian Angel Society
A pledge of $5,000 or more each year helps to sustain our high levels of creativity and innovation, and supports McGuire Memorial in its vision to be a premier provider of services to people with disabilities—where miracles occur each and every day! Monthly payments are available or you can choose to participate as a sponsor, underwriter or advertiser at McGuire Memorial Foundation events as part of your annual Guardian Angel pledge.

In-Kind Contributions
McGuire Memorial Foundation seeks live and silent auction items such as vacation rentals, concert and performance tickets, autographed sports memorabilia, one-of-kind experiences, designer or hand-crafted items, foodie and gourmet indulgences, trips and unique gifts from around the world (valued at $100-$10,000). Gift cards and smaller gift items of any size can also be donated for prizes and basket raffles held throughout the year.

Special Projects
What’s on our wish list? Last year, smart technologies were funded for our community homes, providing residents with greater independence, communication methods, control over their environment and fullness of life with a simple touch of an iPad. The McGuire Memorial Foundation also makes dreams come true by seeking donations for restaurant gift cards, favorite sports team clothing, or individual items that are requested by our “Entrusted Treasurers”. Tree of Life
A contribution to the McGuire Memorial Tree of Life is a caring, thoughtful way to honor or remember a friend or loved one. The Tree of Life, located in McGuire’s lobby, is a beautiful bronze sculpture of a large, lush, oak tree filled with hundreds of leaves, sitting upon a base of sculpted bronze stones. The memorial leaves or stones will be inscribed with the sentiment of your choice.
