Adult Training Facility Licensing
The Adult Training Facility at McGuire Memorial is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Public Welfare, Office of Developmental Programs. We fall under the 55 Pa. Code Chapter 2380: Adult Training Facilities. This Code provides regulations regarding the physical site, staffing, fire safety, health, medications, nutrition, procedures, and records, among other items.
Our large, well-lit space and program rooms have been key parts of McGuire Memorial since the Adult Training Facility was officially established in 1997. We follow all regulations established by the state regarding the required square footage for each individual and for required staffing to meet the needs of our adult population. The excellence of our programs can be attributed to scrupulously following these regulations and to the professionalism of our staff members in their abilities to serve adults with intellectual disabilities in a nurturing, personalized environment.
